About this page and eBay: I have seen this devil of an auction site grow over the last few years, and although I have tried my best to avoid "evilBay" like the plague, it seems to have the force of a black-hole, sucking everyone in eventually. I reached the point of no return when I was looking around for an old sci-fi video, which I couldn't find anywhere except on eBay. Since being forced to make that first bid, I have got to know it a bit better and my conclusion is that although 95% of everything involved with eBay is utter crud, there are a few diamonds in the rough if you now where to look, and how and when to bid. It also helps knowing what to look out for so that you don't get scammed - there's still a lot of that going on.

So anyway, the point is, that a LOT of people are using eBay to buy and sell cheap motorcycle parts, and unfortunately a lot of RD owners are advertising there first, instead of in our classifieds section where we can keep stuff within the community. Well... if you can't join them, beat them... oh hang on... well, in any case it's pointless ignoring it, and it's a shame if we all miss out on some good deals out there to bring into the fold. So to make thing a bit easier and more enjoyable, I have decided to make this page up as a guide to buying stuff on eBay. You should find some useful info on buying, and an easy search function with all the latest auctions relevant to us. Hope it helps! I will also be adding various links and search tools so you can easily find some motorcycle parts, or whatever you're looking for. Please let me know if there's anything you think worth adding.
