the air screw has nothing to do with the oil. check your oil pump!

i was told the screw was the oil air scew????
so is it just an air screw? or is it an oil screw?
can the oil intake be controled by the carb or is it all done by the pump?
how do i adjust it?

the air screw is exactly that the air control screw
the oil pump is adjustable by removing
the right hand cover and lining up the marks on the pulley
at both closed and full throttle
it sound to me like yours could be fully open all the time

TZR 125 1987-93 Mr Haynes says :-
"The pump pulley has three alignment marks, a round dot and two engraved lines, one on each side of the dot. The pump alignment mark is the shorter and lower of the two engraved lines. To check the pump synchronization, rotate the twistgrip slightly until all freeplay has been removed from the cable. At this point the alignment mark on the pully should be directly with the pin that protrudes from the centre pivot of the pulley. If this is not the case, slacken the cable adjuster locknut and turn the adjuster, situated on top of the casing, to obtain the required reading. Open and close the throttle a few times, then recheck the setting. Repeat the adjustment procedure as described , then tighten the pump cable adjuster locknut."
Simple.
