So come on fess up who can actually pull a decent wheelie on their bike..
And not just hoist the wheel over rises or a quick mono when it hits the power..
I’m on about a controlled jobbie of at least 20yds
Me – nope … I’m crap

Does calmly rolling through the gears from the A4 flyover to the M4 Heston Services roundabout count as a wheelie?
It's pretty vicious on a good rd though isn't it.

Depends what it is bud.
CR250? Anyone can wheelie em well.
RGV's I found hard as the front tended to either fly up or do s***.
GSXR1100H was easy to wheelie long/thru gears.
ZX10 I always had a problem with doing well,Exup 1000 was easy,In all some are easier to learn/ do than others

Cant wheelie, wont wheelie.
Up off throttle..yes.....keep it up, no.
Only managed it ever on KX250 and husky wr250.
The TDR was the only bike i could even do crap ones on.
I prefer both wheels on ground

cant wheelie to save me life, though i did get very good at rolling stoppies.....found getting the balance point on the front wheel completely natural, but very un nerving on the back wheel
easiest bike ive ever wheelied though is my RD80LC......comes up off the throttle and can be held there at 10-15mph for ages... i guess thats because its low geared and weighs about the same as a packet of fags!

Can't wheelie much myself! Broke my back trying to manual my mountain bike.
Still modern motor bikes have taken the art out of it, My R1 was just way too easy to pull up, even for a fool like me. The most impressive wheelie I've ever seen was a near vertical through the gears effort on a hot-rod bevel drive 900ss Ducati. Madness!

Can wheelie a Honda VT500 FT (shaft drive) well i did a few times n managed to keep it up for about 50 metres.... Suzuki TS 50 can keep the front wheel up to infinity and beyond (same principal as gavs RD80), Tzr 250 Could never get the wheel to come up controlled it either whipped up n threw me off or did jack sh*t, Honda CB350s... Wheelied very well... until it seized on the back wheel lol... summat to do wiv the oil being low and the oil pick up not getting any oil or summat to that effect..
Best bike for wheelies i ever road was my mates ZXR 750... came up nicely on the throttle no need for clutching it... and would sit in 3rd gear at 5000-5.5000 RPM on the back wheel until you got bored of it..
Ultimate comedy wheelie was on a DAX with a C90 motor..... i didnt even mean to do it just i was sat too far back on it and opened the throttle a tad too quick n hey presto one dissapearing number plate and mud guard

My old aircooled likes to wheelie, especially when taking off fast from a red light. But I cant keep it up there for long. It goes about 30 cm off the ground in first, and then just lift in 2nd.... if you give it full go from dead stop it flips you off.... its hard to to balance tho..

I'm crap at wheelies.
The SP1 likes to get the wheel up, but I'm too much of a pansy to keep into it

on the 1200 Bandit - piece of p*ss. low revs clutch out then nail it and feather at about 2500 up it comes and hang on to you run out of revs at the end of 2nd. When the front wheel hits the deck it shows about 90 on the clock and you get a screech and a puff of smoke from the tyre.
HeeHee
Thats the reason I'm selling it - its going to kill me
TDR is pretty easy in 1st or 2nd but not really controllable and 2nd will fry the clutch eventually. Moving onto stoppies now
