Good buy and if you mean cylinders, 2nd hand only and expensive option. You should find someone who can repair any damage to them, i.e. rebore or reline them.

Welcome back to your teenage years
chambers .. yup .. you can even have brand new 'allspeeds' if ya like
But I'd recomend a Pair of Mick Abbey pipes .. ring-ding-ding
As for whats available in Canada .. err Dunno

It was a deal from an a friend of a friend.
He just spent 1200 CDN (about 600 pounds) doing the motor, fresh pistons rings rebore seals crank etc.
He let it sit a year and I kept saying I love the 79 rd and he said he had to get rid of it hows 600.00 sound.
I said sure so we worked out a deal for payment because my 79 ate my mad money and now I have a freshly red painted rd350lc. It needs a carb cleaning, a clutch lever and a battery (although i think the later is not necessary because the air cooled has the deadest battery in the world).
And I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
And I would really like to make it sound nice with a set of reasonably priced expansion chambers.
I see spec2 makes them and those I know I can get.
For now I have to fix the rd and the other crazy deal that I got and then I will take possesion of the bike.
Two many parts in plastic storage bins at the moment.

Yes, chambers are available, but the best thing u can do is put on RZ pipes. I've got F2 pipes on mine and it makes a huge diff. The stock pipes are garbage. I have an extra pair of 31K ('84) RZ pipes if youre interested..

I will get the bike first before I can commit to any additional parts.
How much would a set of the pipes cose (the 31k variety).
And how can you tell if that is what is already on it.

Side by side, the stock pipes are thinner. Its takes a trained eye to distinguish both. PM me and I can send you pics of the pipes I have. The RZ pipes are nice because they still make the bike look stock
