I am after a mint RD350LC,RD350 YPVS from 1980 to 1986or RD500LC.It must be original and running to perfection.Paintwork must be standard and mint.I am willing to pay £2000 and up to £2700 for a perfect example.I am also willing to travel anywhere in the UK for the right bike. I would also seriously concider a mint low mileage RD500LC. If you have one for sale either email me asap please on j111dja@tiscali.co.uk or call me on 07766 003231 or send a text message.I always reply to my mobile voice mail.Thanks.David.

I knew the price would creep out, if I did a break down of all the new parts fitted to the bike plus the £900 I paid for it it would be over £6000.. Shocked but its as new if not better than new, and lets not forget its a 24 year old classic bike as new, so I think its a fair price for someone who wants a real nice original RD350LC with nothing missing.

Crip . jeez it must be minty mint Very Happy .. and I can believe if it all new and perfect that you've got that tied up in it. However most ppl will tell ya it aint ever worth that much .. And to be fair you never get out what you put in .... but if its as good as you say and I had the wedge I'd probably say £4000 to £5000 is prolly about right but it would have to pass the lookslike new and has no marks as all from 2feet away, and I'd also expect a bit of history with it for that ....

And most ppl can build a very nice LC for £2000 to £3000 and 90% of ppl would say it was mint

Thing is .. I bet its 'X' reg .. if so . deffo can't be for me Shocked

However LC's are deffo in vouge at the moment and next months Classic Bike 10 pages on LC's will help your quest...

For a bit of info ... when CMM ran a piece on Monty's I know a Germen guy then wanted an 'as new' one and paid £7000 for it. cos he was after mine .. but it wasn't for sale.

Thanks and I know what your sayin, the bike is an original 'W' 1980 it has a low chassis num 000500 and somthing low owners, matchin numbers and handbook. the thing is with a rebuild you get people who do it with old bits cleaned up, or from the breakers and don't use original nuts screws, sprockets, wiring and get lots of new pattern parts like levers, cables etc, and call it mint resto, mine has been total built with Yamaha parts which I have hunted high and low for 15 months, even the bits you cannot get anymore I found brand new and fitted to the bike, this is why I think it worth the money, people need to understand its a nice classic bike and something this nice is an investment.

Sorry to steal your post m8..I'll get off me box now.....
