Hi Everyone,

I've had the feeling lately that the exposure of the site has slowed down a bit, so this is a call for a bit of help...

Basically, anyone with a website, or even a page anywhere on the net - could you please put a small link back to this site? It doesn't have to be motorcycle related, but that would help. The "URL" to use for the site is:

http://www.yamaha-rd.com/

Here is an example bit of code you can put on your site:

Code:
<p>Visit the <a href="http://www.yamaha-rd.com/">Yamaha RD/RZ Motorcycle Home Page</a>, and join the fun! Events, Tech info, Photos, Classifieds, and a dangerously addictive community forum! :)</p>

Obviously, feel free to change the text as much as you want, it's just something I thought of on the fly... Please get in touch if you need help or want to make a suggestion.

Thanks very much! Smile
Alek.

Does it help to have links to you within a post in another forum. I use the same avatar and an old boy commented on the RD and his youth etc so I pointed him here.

Wassup anyway - nearly 4500 members not enough for you - talk about megalomaniac - you're the 'baddie' in the next 007 film aren't you?

Its not quite 4500 with all the aliases and fly-by-nights... Smile

No, its not that anyway, whats happened is that a lot of other forums have sprung up and I think some people are not finding it as easy to get here.. so I'm just trying to help sustain the influx of fresh faces to the community.. Think of me more as the next Austin Powers baddie. "I want... ONE THOUSAND USERS! muhahaha... erm no wait... TEN THOUSAND USERS! muhahaha..." Very Happy

Links from other forums help, but not as much as proper listed links on either front pages of sites or on their normal links pages.

.. and of course word of mouth is one of the best ways! That's how a lot of RD owners (or ex-owners) have been introduced to the site, so please continue to spread the word... Smile

Alek--I literally just started an RZ page last night and I put your link on my links page, but I'd rather put the pic link in the upper left corner of the site--how do I do that?

FORGET IT--FIGURED IT OUT--YOU'VE GOT A LINK ON THE BOTTOM OF MY HOMEPAGE, AND ON MY LINKS PAGE!
