Actually hitting the benchmark ton for the first time was for me, and probably u lot too was probably a truly triumphant moment and the memory will prob never fade!.........

And also will the 'bike' that propelled me to such amazing velocities be indelibly etched into my mind - sadly! Crying or Very sad Embarassed

This is hard for Ardon to admit - really Crying or Very sad - but it was aboard a mates CB400 four Bonda!......

It didnt handle but it was very smooth and comfortable and terminal velocities were within its grasp but always fell short!

My second ton was on board a mate 'Cinders' 300 mile old LC Powervalve after he got himself banned. Compared to my 350LC this machine was so refined and when the motor was ready for be given full whack... that is what it got!

As I hit 105 the wobbly valve was squirming so much that I was expecting to go home in a body bag - but neverless I had set a personnal record!

On what machine did you lot first crack the ton????????????????

My long standing score was on a breathed on gp972r at 162 at Elvington.

ALLEGEDLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a normal sized rider on board a tzr125 falls short of the mark BUT with a Hobbit like you on board trans warp velocities are possible!

What do u weigh now Bilbo?

3 stone?

You might need to ask Giro to lend you one of his tzr125 titainium con rods!

I think it was in a car Embarassed
First time on a bike was on my 350LC and 20 I think..can't remember exactly though as it wasn't such a thrill..100mph is quite an odd number in km/h.
Being rocketed to 180km/h on my other 350LC faster then my first 350LC could get up to 120 was quite an experience though Shocked (the first one did 180 as well but took much longer to get there!)
