I sort of offered these around a few weeks ago but opened a can of worms, like always what I've had made was not what everyone wanted.
I'm currently working on bigger offset for other people but in the mean time I need to start shifting these.

For those who asked before I appologise if I didn't get back to you, my wifes been in hospital and to be honest shifting these had been the last thing on my mind, it just seems easier to start with a new thread and some pictures.

The cost is £37.00 each plus carriage but I can do better prices if I can sell like 20 at the same time (not all to one customer just firm orders from a few of you at once) the cost of heat treatment and modifying them all at the same time means I have some movement on price.

As you can see in the photo, you can have anything upto a 20 mm offset, I have 15off 15 tooth, 15off 16 tooth and 20off 17 tooth, I need to see if any of you are interested and whether I'll ever repeat the excersize.

Any questions at all just ask.

Andy

Rich Not wishing to state the obvious but how do you get the nut on? The thread on the gearbox shaft will actually sit inside the sprocket scratch

Other offset sprockets I've seen are hollowed out in the centre so there is space for the nut and tab washer.

Sorry guys, but when I said modified I guessed you'd all realise they haven't been modified yet.
They don't have a counter bore in them as you rightly said, because if there was it would limit them to a size of offset.

If anyone orders say a 7mm offset I will machine the back so it gives the required 7mm step from the back of the sprocket teeth to the back of the sprocket and then counter bore the front to give the same thickness as an original sprocket and clearance for tab washer and nut.

They are bespoke sprockets so you don't have to buy a sprocket that is a compromise where you have to fit 5 washers behind the sprockets to get the required offset, I'll make them exactly right for you.

You haven't picked up on the fact they haven't been hardened yet either, so before someone does, it's because I can't machine them if they are hard, thats why I need lot's of orders so I can keep hardening costs down.

Mild steel case hardened .030" deep, probably just on the teeth.
Do you harden using vacuum ovens? if so I can paint the bits I don't want hard in Gako.

I doesn't need to be hard but the teeth, the splines are a good fit and as you know some heat treaters are sh**e.

Your in Huddersfield, we could do business.

I have a lot of parts hardened but not much case, I pay £60 which is Wallworks min charge, I can't fit it in with what we do so I'd have to pay £60 for one or 20off, see my dilemma.

Hi Pat,

I'll modify it and post the picture that way everyone knows what I'm offering, I personally need 6 anyway so I think they'll be ready fairly soon.

Hey Andy,
I realise you've been busy man, but I have PM'ed and responded to your posts, asking if you can help at least three of us with 28mm offset sprockets for our Aprilia RS250/RZ projects. I believe there are a few other guys on the RGV Forum looking for the same offset.

Could you please just let us know if you can help?

Cheers
Steve
