I used this bloke, he's good, cheap and quick.
Ok, he's in Switz, but for a pair of carbs it would
only be a fiver or so more to post each way...
This cost me £40.00 icluding post there and back
to Zurich, which is the other end of the country to
me. And he speaks English.

Yeah Colin (sbscnor) has used RD cox before - has done a search on the topic.

So may as well go with them - whats good for Colin is good for anyone in my estimation Wink
Honkdawilly your bits look great! Wink

Anyone else used them and have some rough prices for various bits, whats the turnaround like etc etc.

Andy yeap RD Cox did my stuff EXCELLENT job as well quick turnaround time.

I had
1x Set LC crankcases
4 x Carb body
4 x float chambers
4 x Carb tops

including return P&P £80, the only thing I would advice mask off orask them to mask off the sight glass on the crab body mine is all frosted.

If you can hang on a week or so I can do it. I should have my new machine set up by then. Let me know what you want doing.

I have restored 2 4lo's, 2 pv's & 2 500's in the last few years, oh and an X7 aswell, so I know the ins & outs of these bikes.

I'll sort out a decent rate for users of this forum.

cheers Mark

Thanks for that Tout. I've still got the 500. It's had a few updates over the winter. I just need the weather to warm up now!

Mark, I'm based in Skelmersdale.

cheers Mark
