Yeah a TOP DAY Rob. Sorry but you confirmed to me that NS400's sound cack...bloody awful.
Horible watching that bloke dump his immaculate RC30..criminal, he must be gutted. But I would say one of my better track days that....I really enjoyed the track time on my new bike....more so than the beer and banter time for a change.
Had a good chat with some interesting blokes....that guy with the spondon TZ750 in his bedroom...sitting next to a zero miles RC30...and RC45...amazing. Not only that his mate reckoned he'd just spent 5 grand having Padgetts rebuild the TZ. Holy sh*t.

Yeah I had a top day, thought we were in for a disaster when it was pissing down first thing, but it all dried up nicely. Got to say Rob, Z11 is right, the NS sounds crap
I provided the entertainment for most of the day either from Trig and Z11 ripping my poor old bike to bits My sidestand touching down and giving me a moment around the bottom of Mansfield while being followed by Gareth and Trig pissing himself at me snapping the throttle shut as I got a little more air then I thought I would get at the mountain He snapped it on camera, and I got that and the sidestand incident on film with the £20 on board cam so will post that up later.
I would like to give a big thanks to Trig, my spanner monkey and driver for the weekend. He even made the detour to pick up my new track weapon that I won on ebay on Saturday on the way home. Top Fella mate I.O.U one
Roll on next one in July

Yeah was a bit strange your bike....all the passers by kept saying..."bl*ddy hell, that 350 looks nice" , to which I always said " yeah, he's done a good job of that hasn't he, not cost much either apparently".
Then me and Trig sets to work....forks twisted in yolks (wheel pointing well left when bars straight), no bush in the clutch lever- flopping about all over the place, chain and sprockets must of been the 25year old originals.. Jetting miles out..plugs black as f**k...Trig on carb adjustments every session...side stand hanging down about 2" off the floor.....argh ..it goes on.. god knows what we might have found if we'd took the tank and seat off....
should of said " Yeah it looks nice mate..cos its got the whole friggin paddock looking after it"
