My bike is abbey tuned with allspeeds and kr1s carbs.
Problem is the carbs?????? I have been trying to set it up and it will tick over and run fine, but if you wack open the throttle as fast as you can (not riding it) the thing will bog. This is with the airscreaws set anywhere above a half a turn out. At half turn out the thing rev's fine. I have done a search and other peoples bikes seem to run fine on or around the standard settings with these carbs.
I have also sprayed carb cleaner around the gaskets to see if I have a leak and it doesnt seem to be drawing air from anywhere, could this be my pilot jets need to be changed to larger ones or am I just missing something? Thanks

Sounds like you need larger Pilots. try it with the choke on this will tell you if its way lean or not. But you should do this with the engine under load not in neutral.

Had the same problem with my hybrid, for now I've fitted the old re-jetted 31k carbs. Everyone swears that they are plug & play but all my bike did was bog down, eventually clear its throat and pick its front wheel up Shocked not very traffic friendly, I will give them another go at some point but for now getting some miles under its belt is the plan.

Mark...
