What spark plugs and grade is the best for running on a 31k?
And what tire size does people here use? I've searched that the BT45 is a great tyre for the RD but what dimention is the best? Standard 110-80-18 front and 120 rear?
Thanks for the input!!

Standard size tyres work, BT45 ok on the road.
Front 90/90-18
Rear 110/80-18
Big tyres take longer to warm up.
Plugs NGK BR8ES
tyres have been discussed before

Why is this? The BR9 is a "hotter" plug, or am I wrong?

Nah the 9 is a colder, the higher the number the colder the plug.
9 is the coldest commonly avaliable plug, and it shouldn't foul up, even around town.
You can get 10's as well, but they arn't required for a stock engine.
I always use 9's

NGK web site below should be a good guide.
I have been told before colder plugs are better provided they don't foul.

I ran 9's in my 31K and it would foul up every couple of hundred miles, I changed to 8's (recomended by my Dyno operator AF1) and have not had any problem in over a 1000 miles.. 9's may be okay, but 8's don't seem to do any harm and run great. My dyno operator said "everyone belives that putting in a cooler plug will magically make the engine run cooler, it Doesn't, it makes the plug run cooler!" He has been tuning engines for many years so I took his advice, no regrets so far. If you are doing a lot of around town, stop/start driving I would go for the 8's, otherwise take the 9's.
