Hello,
I know that this has been put up before, but I can`t find it
83mm spacing 4 pot calipers, what bikes are these off please
I need to order some seals and I would like to get my facts right
The other question,
CDI`s for F2
1UA -50 is on the bike and I`ve looked on the 350 net site and it tells me it`s a 350 N2
I`ve just won what I thought was a F2 CDI on ebay but it`s no is 4CE - 00
On the 350 net site the nearest to that is 4CD for a 350R .
The 4CE CDI has an extra single wire coloured blue and yellow.
I assume that it`s no good for an ordinary F2 - is this correct
Cheers

I believe 4CE is the rd350r cdi, it will probably work, just need to find out what the wire does, and splice it accordingly.

My F2 project bike has a 4CE-00 CDI, I think it's a Brazilian jobby. Question is, what's the difference between this & any of the others?

Might be restricted - I think the Brazilian models were in some way but don't know how.

Lower compression & washers in the exhaust. the CDI must be different I guess to have different numbers, but I don't know how.

I've got a 350R with a 1WT head and Micron GP pipes, goes as quick as any other F2, port timings are the same.

1UA -50 CDI is for 350 N2 and F2
4CE - 00 CDI is for Brazilian RD350R ("F2").
RD350R are restricted by the exhaust and carb setting but not by the CDI I think.
But I don't know the reason why there is the new 4CE-00 CDI reference for the F2 ! perhaps due to a new supplier for this part ?

My '95 350 R is 4CE.
This CDI doesnt advance the ignition as soon as the F2 (1UA) CDI. If your wanting to get a little more pick up then a f2 cdi might be the way to go. My race bike is running a 4CE CDI and i am going to replace it with a 1UA, then i'll stick it on the dyno to see if there is much of an improvement.
