I was thinking of getting one, but after reading a report on it they said the motor feels flatter than flat. Sad
I am gonna wait a bit as I was told that there is a 150 version available but not for the UK so going to see if the motors parts can swap around a bit for a few more ponies Smile
Also the aftermarket people should be able to do something electronics wise which may bring a bit mopre life to it.

They are restricted as standard. A simple mod takes them up to 22 odd BHP.... further mods take them higher at the risk of reduced reliability apparently! Very Happy Wouldn't mind a shhot on one though!

That's what the write up says... although maybe 22 BHP was what you can get out of them.... Confused

Definately no way 22BHP, a Honda CRF150 with a fair few mods will only produce around 21BHP and that is a full competition bike with no restrictions at all.
When I spoke to a couple of dealers I was told that the bike is not like the PV 125 where you simply fitted a servo kit etc and released it's full potential.
I was told 'it is what it is' and there were no de-restriction info for this model so it will be big bore/cams and ignitions and pipes to liven this thing up, so it's going to cost a few quid to get it to go.
I went and looked at the bikes today at the local dealer, it looks better in the flesh, but then I saw MBK wrote on the frame, does this mean its an Italian build like the TZR-RR model was. If so I was always under the impression that the Italian built Jap stuff was not a patch on the true Jap built bikes or was that a load of shite.

Nice looking bike, but it'd be beyond depressing to ride I expect with that asthmatic 125 four plodder motor in it. However, they are physically pretty big...

So who's gonna be first to put a decent stroker motor in one? I'd imagine the chassis would be up to containing considerably more ponies than it comes with.

Hmmmm... Anyone got any pics with the plastics off?

Don't like it, looks like a load of razor blades glued together.
Then again the old boys probably thought the same of my 125LC back in 1984 Confused

Prefer these :
