Post subject: Front footrest help needed

Hi I have a pair of original front footrests for a 350lc, what I am unsure about is the way they operate, as in should they both spring back to their original position when folded up? This seems to only happen to one of mine and the other stays in place. Can someone tell me the correct operation of the footrests please?

That's right, the r/h one stays up so it clears the kickstart. The left one springs back.

Thanks rich I thought there was something wrong with the r/h footrest but I couldn't see anything wrong with it
