RD500 or FZ750 back wheel in a valve. opens up tyre selection a bit.. well on the back anyway

The RD500 rear wheel is only 3.00 wide and 18" so not much tyre choice to be honest. It's also a lot wider at the hub and runs a 17mm spindle so would be tricky to fit into the valve arm. It's also very heavy. A much better option would be a 3.50x17 rear from the TZR125RR/FZR250 etc or a 4.00x17 from an SZR660. Both these would go in very easily (15mm spindle and narrow hub) and being 17" have much wider tyre choice.

bollox - now i find out...
yeah it seems a bit heavier - ill have to weigh them both, it was cheap and local so if it doesnt work out ive not lost much.
Its got a 150 section back tyre on at the mo!

Can we refer to them in other technically accurate (and ever so slightly pedantic) terms...
dorsal ? posterior ?
Are these acceptable descriptions of the wheel/tyre that ISNT at the front
