Rich I've got to fit these decals to the fairing panels soon. I'm really not looking forward to it as they have to be cut around the air vents Confused Any tips? I only have 2 so can't afford to bugger any up.

Soapy water is good, not too much soap as it gets too slippery and hard to fix, about 4 or 5 drops in a half pint of water. Use a plant spray mister to apply the mix. On curved surfaces with large logos I have found it useful to remove the application tape first then remove the sticker. Take care not to stretch the vinyl. Clean and wet the fairing with the mix, apply a fine mist on the decal and put the sticker on the fairing, the soapy water will give you some slippage allowing you to get it in position, start on a flattish area first. To remove the water use something like a credit/phone card, wrapping it in light soft cloth reduces the risk of scratches, move from the centre of the decal outwards. when you get to the vent use a sharp blade to trim, I use the small snap off knives.
The key is take your time, dont rub fully out on the first go, if its not in the correct position peel back carefully apply more water mix an go again,
when your happy with the positioning rub it out fully.
If the vinyl stretches you can carefully shrink it a bit with a hair drier (or heat gun!)
Its harder to describe than show, good luck and take your time!

Spot on old59, just done my KR decals, number one rule if you think it will take an hour, spend 2 on it and just take your time with plenty of soapy water it will dry out or be pushed out by a credit card so theres no problem they will still stick.
Best of all make sure the surface is 100 per cent micro clean before applying, you never see the fleck of grit till right at the end when you can no longer lift the stickers.
Good luck,

As you said mistakes are out of order - take it to a shop that does commercial truck graphics and let a pro handle it.
