how do you wire a ypvs brain up to a 350lc loom? i understand the servo connects to the brain, and the brain then has to be connected to a negative, an ignition live and the other wire goes to the low tension off the coil?

also what alternator do you use?

this looks easiest option for me at the moment as i know the history of my ypvs motor and its been breathed on, the LC motor i have hasn't been run for 4 years and i don't know healthy its internals are (plus it needs stripping and painting)

just looking for the easiest method of fitting the valve lump as i'd rather not change the loom and the black boxes

Hmm.. trying to remember. Firstly the Yvps Atlernator (stator and rotor) and Ign box should be a matched set with each other. They can be cross matched with some wire switching, But if you don't need to, it's one less complication.
Only mods needed are to alow the alt to connect to the LC connectors Change either the Valvie or the stock loom connectors.. beyond that yr only needing to supply fused power to the Valve control box and thereby the servo.
A wiring diagram for both an LC and the year valve being used helps immensly.. in seeing which Ign module wire goes to which LC loom wire Dead simple... once you've done it Rolling Eyes
