is it worth taking the anti-dive off my forks ?
i suspect they are not very effective and my braking and suspension will be improved without them ?
can i just take them off and blank the holes up
or is there more to it than that ?
thanks
steve

Looking at the yamaha manual on page 6-69 it implies the fork oil flows through the anti dive units and then on its merry way to do the damping. If this is the case then just blanking off the holes would stop the oil from flowing through the damper rod and severly changing the way the forks work.
I guess what you would have to do is make a blanking plug up with a groove in it so the oil could still flow through the two holes that are there when you remove the dive units.

just remove the hoses that supply the hydraulic pressure to activate the valve and thats it
obviously you need to blank off the anti dive feed with 10mm bolts and copper washers to be on the safe side and use single banjo bolts on te caliper but thats it
braking pressure/power is improved and the forks feel better too
