Hello all, I'm new around here but certainly not new to bikes.
Been on bikes for over twenty years but away from 2 strokes for a while. But I've recently become the proud owner of a 1983 RD350LC and I love it.
It took a lot of shopping and travelling to find a nice model, and man there is some crap out there advertised as mint.
Anyway it feels great to be back on a stroker and the way the smell lingers on your leathers afterwards, is this some sort of fetish ha ha.
I hope to delve into all your knowledge as I need a few reminders and tips when it comes to the LC again as it's been the 1980's since I last fiddled with one
Other bikes in the stable are a Triumph Sprint and Suzuki GSX1400.
That's the introduction done, now if there's a virtual bar around here then let me buy a drink

Hi 'pence ... how you doing? I was reading up on macmansions (giant houses on dinky plots ... like tract housing here) and ran across this article ...
http://books.guardian.co.uk/departments/politicsphilosophyandsociety/story/0,6000,1365047,00.html
So was wondering if the article was exaggerated or not. See the same crap (overdevelopment) here. Bastard developers come in and just level everything in site. 200 year old oak tree? ... knock it down. An H-Bomb would do less damage.

Welcome aboard, the 83 was my first RD, only 17 years old then. Now many years and bikes later I got myself another one (R). I agree, with you, what a pleasure and thrill the strokers are compared to the sanitized supermarket bikes of nowadays!
Now looking into a Kawasaki triple stroker as well.
Cheers,
