no they ain't. they're made from cones. end cans look a bit nikon'ish.'
these are hydro formed. I'm looking at them. sorry i couldn't resist seller wasn't far from me so i whizzed round there and picked em up. the surface rust was minor, what you would expect from 20 years in a garage.
He was a real nice chap, really into bikes but through a nasty smash on a 350lc many years ago has gave bikes up through injury and these he bought for his 500 at the time but never fitted them. threw in a bnos stan stevens damper as well, never fitted either. as he never heard his gibsons on his 500 sold on the condition I take it round there once I finished the bike so he can hear them. better get a move on!
so what do reckon? bbq paint? chrome? or black chrome?
