I desperately want to bid on a shock on eBay Germany but the guy won't post overseas. Or rather, he will but he wants to charge a lot on post. Can anyone please help? i've been after one of these shocks in good nick for ages, this one looks very clean. Sad I do have a contact in Germany but I can't get hold of him, think he's working away. Crying or Very sad

When I asked the guy about post to the UK he said;

"muss ich aber sagen das kostet viel geld"

Now my translator translates this as - "it would be very expensive"

does it actualy mean - "you would have to pay more" Confused

I've had some pretty high postal quotes off overseas sellers but I think this is because they don't know the cheapest place to look.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear, I need someone in Germany that can bid and post the shock on to me. Course I'll cover all costs.

The F4i seems to be quite close ....... and i d have a try as if it's not good for you , it would fit on an YPVS 350 Very Happy

but i won't be able to get this one for you Sad

JL SS pipes sucks on stock bikes IMO , HUGE hole in the torque curve , needs to be trashed to death , not good at all on a stock bike

With a skimmed head , VCDI and VF , they make decent power

mild steel are vastlly superior talking about performances Wink

Generally speaking - postage out of Germany for anything other than small envelopes is fairly high as the parcels get done by DHL who are owned be the German postal system.

Drewski, now my bike is running I can tell you that the SS pipes on a Mick Abbey ported bike are smooth up to 6k now the right combination has been found. After 6k to where the power peaks and drops off is very hard and its not going to be so stressful on the crank. It peaks just after the redline on my bike. Im guessing Micks porting work is holding it back..I dont mean to be disrespectful..its just that the tune is not a balls out one. My Stephens Stg 3 running mild steel original Lomas pipes revved hard into and nearly out the other side of the red still making power but the difference is that it had more radical porting ie skimmed head and raised exhuast port.

In terms of feel Im not unhappy with the low down lack of power and in some respect it makes it easy in traffic however to get the best out of the bike it does Im afraid have to be thrashed. I may very well go 2 teeth down on the front for maximum wheelie potential...!

I like them...sounds like angry wasps..!

Cheers Vindy, 'guess I'm not going to know for sure if I like em 'till I've fitted them and ridden the bike. What are the flanges like? Do they look like they'll stay sealed Question Also, did yours come with all you needed to fit 'em Question Should be picking mine up this weekend Cool
