Howdy lads,
I'm wondering if any of you have any close up photos or measurements of positioning decals on 350 LC side panels, the position of the silver petrol tank sticker and also the position of the chain guard decals.

Any pics or brochure copies I've downloaded are not very clear and unfortunatly we've already had a problem with one spray painter who made a mess of my side panel decals so need to do them again. The same muppet also thought the petrol tank decal was surplus to requirements and binned it.

I've since found a painter who I believe will do the job well but I need close up pics so we can get it right this time.

Thanks in advance.

Don't trust any painter, almost every paintjob I've seen, even Dream Machine, put the decals, airbrushing, in the wrong place. If you want a job doing right...................do it yourself, it aint that hard Very Happy

I know exactly what you mean par6.
It's a pain arse when somebody gets it wrong, so this time I'm going to get it right, I just need some close up shots.
This LC love is turning me into a perfectionist, is that a good thing Cool

This shows the petrol tank decal - btw, it goes on over the clear coat, not under it. LC's didn't have chain guard decals so leave it off.

Never noticed before but the cover of that brochure shows the fuel warning label in FRONT of the filler rather than behind it. Confused

In 1981 I bought a brand new RD 250Lc and a brand new RD350 LC, and on them both the warning sticker was infront/before the filler cap, not to say they didn't put them above, but to my eyes they should always be below Very Happy

Did you have an assembly manual? I would think it would point out where to put warning sticker - though most dealers cant be arsed to read them - I know I didn't Laughing
