Rich Did you know you can use either CDI with a simple wiring alteration?

 No matter which way I try I cannot get sparks with the kill switch connected, any ideas Rich Confused

Nick, which wiring loom are you using and which stator?

 loom is '1WT'
51L 50 rotor
I would say an 85 stator with red/white instead of red lead.
52Y-50 cdi
f2 coil.

I have tapped into the b/y wire from the cdi with b/y and b/w from loom but this kills the sparks, same when I tap into the r/w from the cdi with b/w.

If I leave b/w disconnected neither the kill switch or ignition switch kills the motor.

Or have I missed the obvious Question
