See if you can work this one out. Just rebuilt bike after seizure: Replaced crank, Rebore & pistons & all new seals & gaskets.Ive run the bike and its running hotter on the right cylinder. Right exhaust is to hot to touch yet the left you can hold your hand on. And put your hand over end of exhaust & you can feel difference in the heat of the exhaust gases. Whats more is the right silencer is noisier than left & has more pressure coming out,yet the set ups are the same. Cant find any air leaks. Ive ordered some new needles & jets. see if that cures it. plus im gunna swap the carbs over see if that does owt. Dave. RD 350 YPVS. RGV 34mm carbs. Fully Race tuned. 74 bhp @ 11000 rpm.

dunno 'bout the rest.. but the 74 hp ain't "fully raced tuned" by any means and 11,000 rpms is just waiting for catastrophic failure , if actually true.

Sounds like the left cylinder is not firing correctly, you either have crap in the carb (blocking something), a knackered spark plug or coil, or low compression on the left cylinder. Clean the carbs, change the spark plug and check your compression..

It's as tuned as i could aford, and i rev it to 12500 rpm. Trust me its true as do many of my racing colleagues.
New plugs, Motaplat ignition. Rebuilt engine(rebored) 140 lbs on each cylinder. new crank. Re designed head & squish. Looks like being carbs i think. Got some new needles and jets coming.

Over heating most of the times comes from too small stinguer diameter Wink

abviously you also have some ignition / carb issues too

but passed 70 you can't use anymore 22-23 stinger dia Wink
