No offense mate, but these bikes aren't worth much money out here.

I think if you get $3k for it you will be doing very well, but my guess is that $2k is going to be closer to the mark Sad

If there's one good thing about living in the UK, it would be that people will pay crazy money for our bikes.

Should point out recent rebuild with OE rods and Wisecos, new OE Throttle Cable, OE Clutch Cable, OE plain and friction clutch plates, new Battlax tryes and everything that required replacement was replaced.

Best of luck with the sale, I certainly know where Hybrid is coming from, here in Aus they are not fetching quite the money of the UK, can be still quite high though.

I made a choice years ago to make my RD into what I wanted and fitted RZ front and rear end and different paint. At the time they weren't worth that much anyway. In hindsight keeping it completely stock would have been a wiser choice. I just didn't like how they handled and braked stock, the RZ gear made things heaps better.
It also made my recent choice to go RGV F/R even easier as the bike was already devalued so it wouldn't hurt to once again make it the bike I wanted.

I've already sunk a lot of money into the bike and know I will only get a fraction of what it has cost me if I were to sell it, which I will not, partially for that reason, but mostly because I have a love for it deep down.

Anyway, enough rambling.

Hopefully someone who wants exactly what you have will see the ad and you both with get the deal you are looking for. Surprised

edit. ps give that can a hit of paint asap, cosmetics matter.

Whatever you do, don't agree with me Maxy.
You'll have a nasty PM coming your way in no time Laughing

Anyway, as I said in my PM's (amongst other things):

Good luck with the sale.
If he does get what he's asking then its good for anyone who owns one.

If you want to discuss values, shouldn't it be in the General Chat section? Wink

Hey Jackster

As stated, best wishes for the sale and I know exactly where you are coming from and how much it costs to get an example to the condition yours is in. I try not to think about how much mine has cost me since I recently decided to do the RGV swap as I could have bought an R6 or something.
I don't believe our discussion will hurt your sale in any way, if I were considering the purchase myself I wouldn't let it concern me what other think.
Anyway, to look on the bright side we are keeping the thread alive for you so more people are likely to see it. Laughing
