 My old race 250LC, is going back on track.

After 14 years standing still in a damp shed it started first bump with a splash of petrol in the carbs.

Apart from the seized clutch that ended up with me using my neighbours fence to stop it sounded alright. Once the clutch was fixed it starts perfectly but the revs just rise and rise and it actually dieselled for a while with the ignition off.

I'm taking this as an air leak somewhere carb rubbers don't look too healthy but not crumbled to dust.

Any ideas where I should start?
