Darn carbs seem to have 'an abundance' of lil spigots..
Some are obvious: Fuel, Oil pump, Bottom of float bowl drains, connector between Choke.and other carb

But there are still More! Are there actually 2 float bowl overflows on each carb?
Anyone have a diagram/photo of all the hoses. My Fische diagrams seem mostly inadequate for me

Ooh my choke has a cracked seal between plunger and knob.. Niusance or critical .. as all my spares are equally damaged

More:Embarassed Turning handlebars right increases revs.. clearly the throttle cable is wrongly placed.. But it looks to be in the right location according to the pesky Fische diagrams.
thanks

The choke is no problem. It just lets dirt into the brass pin and looks ugly.
It seals inside there so it won't take air in or anything. Smile I understand if you want it replaced though, it looks very annoying!

Dunno about the holes though, but i have noticed that you can remove alot of lumps and bumps on the carbs and get rid of a few grams! Laughing

Rich I think you'll find a lot of the blind ones are from where the carbs are cast in 2 halves but only one half is drilled.

No it isn't difficult... was looking for a mindless answer...
Just don't want to 'learn' these basically crappy Carbs.. Like the LC's forks these were substandard fitments IMO.
I've heard here that 'some' guys have been known to re and re theirs ..repeatedly ..Clearly then, they must be slow learners Laughing

Billy: the Choke plunger assembly shows up on the Yama parts Fiche as being cheaper than the Main jets. (it's now ordered)
Surprising, given the silly price they want for their crude float valve

Apologies for my drunken rant.

OK..from my previous hassles I can tell you some info. The carbs have a spigot which has a tube connected to about half way up on each carb. This vents float bowl to atmosphere but it isnt just a single drilling..it also has a hole into the emulsion tube area. Its possible that both areas can get blocked causing foul running.

Hope this helps Bare.

Beast.
