Maybe this could work on a F2?

I don't think so.
It might work with the LC CDI because its a flat curve.
Triggering it would be the biggest issue I think.
It doesn't look like it can trigger from a VR signal.

This can be used to replace the CDI and operate as a stand alone using the coil driver as seen here http://www.jaycar.co.nz/productView.asp?ID=KC5443&CATID=25&keywords=&SPECIAL=&form=CAT&ProdCodeOnly=&Keyword1=&Keyword2=&pageNumber=&priceMin=&priceMax=&SUBCATID=347
Or the other option is to use a ignition driver (CDI) with a flat curve off another bike like an XR200, except this is only slightly more expensive and could me more reliable as it is brand new? Who could say.
What sort of signal does the RZ? It has the pulsar coil, is that a VR signal is it? What is a VR signal? I havn't heard of that? please tell me more

Tyg, 150NZ will buy that & you will have a bunch of pissn around. 150 euro will buy the VCDI & RZCDI, all you would need to do is fit it & another 50 euro would buy the programmer/controller, unless of course you could borrow one from someone locally, ie: me.

Mike has a controller, but he said it would cost me about $500 to get the VCDI and RZCDI, so this is quite a bit cheaper, plus I could build a whole swathe of them for my car, and other bikes etc.
