i think its soooo difficult to put a price on such a bike, but at the end of the day its worth what some one is prepared to pay. I suspect it will be bought by a collector and end up stored, and un-ridden until they in turn decide to sell it on (and turn a tasty profit no doubt). Personally I like to see an LC thats been ridden and enjoyed. There's something nice about knowing its lived through the heady 80's and survived!!!!

Just my opinion you understand! Wink

I think they do know how much its worth, just depends how far you are willing to try and push the market, and if someone will pay over the odds compared to the £6,500 that one was for sale by Padgetts on Autotrader recently,(might be the same one but not sure how many they had) they are in business, and know how to charge if you look at some of their other bikes.

the problem with that bike is that its only good for display.
its only worth the big dollars/pounds if it stays unused.
You ride it and the value keeps dropping!

3900 quid comes quite close to that I think..
A whole lot of money for a bike that

The footrest hangers look odd to me though, never seen that. I wonder what the fuel tank looks on the inside..

Ive seen this "new" 250lc up close and believe me i wouldnt go near it,as others say and as in add its the Padgetts 250lc that was on Autotrader for an age, maybe they are now paying for their years of arrogance. Its had bits swopped on it left right and centre.

I know someone who has also seen this bike, to say it was 'well' shopsoiled would be an understatement.

Have to agree though, I am surprised that it's dropped so much in price when has been for sale at £6k for so long.
