I have a tyre like that on the back on a 250 lc . you could put a square up on it and its like new its norn like that . Its 26 years old mine you .

Thats exactly why a lot of them were fitted to bikes in the mid to late 70's plus they were cheap.

Like in the photo I saw them fitted to a few superbikes back then. I like the referance in the avert by Avon that its ok to fit to your Superbike.

Referance back to a few of the comments.....

Nowadays everyone seems to look for excuses as to why they come off a bike.........
