I am getting to the point in time where i need to sort out some exhausts for my cub project.

Would anyone who anyone running one of these bikes like to give there opinions on pipes they are using, or problems they have had.

The engine is stage II (trinity racing) tuned and i want torque not a crank destroying screamer Very Happy

I can mod some of the commercially available pipes for the lc/ypvs to fit myself eg jollys, lomas etc.

Or if anyone could recommend a good fabricator/welder for a custom made set please Wink

In the meantime here are some of the latest bits going on her...

I'm in the stadium of modifying standard 31K pipes. I have cut the pipes and calculated a new 2 stage baffel.

Teake from the Dutch RD forum has put the measurements of my modified 31K exhaust in Mota (twostroke simulation program) and he saw some unexpected results. Thanks Teake!!!!!

The orange line is a standard 1WT pipe of which they say they have a good midrange power........

The blue line is a custom made pipe made by Fedor Copal which has already better midrange power and top as the standard pipe.

The pink line is my modified 31K pipe.......

You want midrange power?????? This is midrange power!!!!

See the difference in horsepower at 7671rpm, almost 5kW per cylinder and at 7000rpm the difference is even bigger! Take also a look at the torque (right side results). Power is over at 9750rpm.

This result makes me SMILE Very Happy Twisted Evil

I hope it works out the same way in real when the pipes are finised and mounted on the bike.....

This wil cost you little money (piece of steel sheet and pair of RGV muflers or so) and is worth trying.

Good luck.
