A guide to the LC Club and its activities.
Introduction
Originally started in the late 80s by a small group of LC fanatics, the LC Club has gone from strength to strength, being a BMF affiliated club with over 330 members, both in the UK and abroad.
Still run by fanatics, the club is open for the entire Yamaha LC range, be it a one off special, or a mint standard example, all are welcome, as the primary aim of the club is to bring together these owners and keep the cult of Elsie alive!!
Newsletters and Database
The club produces bi-monthly newsletters, written by members about restoring or modifying the bikes, along with letters and articles about, meets, events, technical issues and general Elsie gossip.
Each issue contains a wanted and for sale section, to help you buy or sell that elusive part. There is also a confidential data base of members bikes as the club is often asked for details on certain models.

Club Discounts Scheme
Club members can enjoy discounts on products and services from some of the major LC specialist, these include engine tuners, engineering companies, paint and graphics suppliers etc, the club has also
negotiated special terms with one of the countries leading insurance companies.
A range of club merchandise is also available in the form of T-shirts, mugs, patches and stickers.

Shows and Events
The club attends many of the major bike shows throughout the UK. It also holds its own rally each year exclusively for LCs. There are also many local meets all over the country, details of these are in every newsletter.
The club is also invited to attend other rallies during the summer months, with ride-outs, bike competitions and more, normally ending with a good drink or two.

LC Club Website and Forum
The club has a long established website with a gallery of members bikes, meeting information, event pictures and links to suppliers offering member discounts and much more.
There is also a link on the site to the clubs forum where all aspects of the club, membership, LC chat, advise and banter can be found.
The forum has For Sale and Wanted sections, Technical Help, Club events and Meeting, as well as several chat forums.
All of which give members instant access to a wealth of LC knowledge and expertise.
A must for all serious LC nuts.

We are currently updating our discounted supplier list. If you know of any supplier or service that would like to offer the LC Club members a discount please let us know.
We have around 400 members and in return we would be happy to give you a mention on the club website and an introduction in the next available bi-monthly magazine.

Swiss Tony Weaver - I suggest that u design a new lc club A4 poster and send a couple of them to folks who are active in the club to try and get said persons local bike shops to display them!!!!!!!!
