Today I received my new reed cages

They are custom made and have a 31.3% bigger reed valve area as the original YPVS reed cages.
I will fit Polini (green) carbon reeds, which I need to cut myself, on these cages.
Hope they will bring me some additional power or/and better torque with my setup.

Interesting Gizmos. Gonna be a largish piece of reed ... there may or may not be flutter issues.
Carbons could be good ,but will need annual inspection
Note that Banshee reed blocks are also larger than Ypvs ones... for those who want a 'bit bigger' at oem availability/ reliability.

They may be bigger, but not where it counts. I just put Banshee reeds on RZ blocks ... perfect fit. Note that they are directional ... that is, they are pre-curved. One side fits flat on block. If flipped over, you will have a 1 to 2 mm gap at the end. Haven't noticed any performance diff between the SS stockers and the Banshee fiberglass. Only reason I put them in was in case of SS reed failure and the damage it can cause, and had it apart for new manifolds.
Those are neat Pico ...

The banshee blocks are 2mm wider .. and yes the Shee reeds fit 'fine' on RZ blocks..but if you look carefully you will see that they actually are bigger reeds. and No the banshee reeds are not normally nor intentionally 'curved' old stock? poor storage? comes to mind. Not a big problem to deal with.
Unlikely a simple reed swap is going to show much instant gratification on a bone stock engine though.

They are intentionally curved. The odds of getting 4 reeds with exactly the same amount of curvature on 2 separate orders of 2 each spaced 2 weeks apart is astronomical.
