I have now got 4 original brake calipers for my '86 ypvs. Three have bleed nipples.
The question is should i overhaul them all, then pick the best two?
Or strip all to component parts to make two decent calipers?
Also whats the best way of removin the pistons to replace the seals?
Which seals are the best to use?
Brake lines original rubber or braided?
Any input helpfull!!!!

Use original yamaha seals, and braided lines. Best way to get out the pistons is to pump them out with the mastercylinder attached. If they are disconnected, sometimes compressed air does the trick. Just take out the pistons and sand down with fine sandpaper any rust or contamintaion and replace the seal.
Remember to apply the supplied red lithium grease before you slide the pistons back in.
Also buy the overhaul set for the master cylinder, this does wonders to the braking aswell!
Good luck!
