Im a newbie bike owner, yet have previously worked on engines and cars before. I just got a 1985 rz350, which hasn't been used in over 15 years, and needs to get fixed up. Any online resources which can provide schematics for motors and parts or even books that you may know of would be greatly appreciated. Any extra advice for a newbie would greatly and emphatically appreciated.

Yes ... no malice or diss was intended toward this forum's sticky link page. It hasn't been updated in like forever and has a lot of dead links. The RD500 link page is short and sweet ... all links work (plus it's a highly technical forum that works well in tandem with this one). I've never seen any indication that this forum tries to be an island, and that linking to other forums was improper. Some forums are redneck about that, in which case I don't stay long.
