Hey y'all .. after having a good clear-out of my bike workshop, i have come across a nice NC30 Single sided swinger/wheel/linkage/shock etc that im thinking of "Grafting" on a 31k frame. I know this ain't something new and its been done before um-teen times, but i do like the look of this modification on a valve, so wondered if there was some online link/blogg/website outlining the modifications needed to make it squeeze into valve frame .. well .. it'll save me some extra hours measuring if i could get some help from tinterweb (lol) - cheers in advance

They do look good - especially if you can get GP pipes that come out on the LH side.

But, how heavy is the set-up compared to standard? I helped a mate do the rear wheel bearings on a VFR750, I couldn't believe how heavy the whole set up was, is the 400 version much lighter?

I built a 4L0 with NC30 running gear front and rear and GP pipes - yes it looks the nuts!!!

I can't find any pics - photobucket appears to have lost them Sad

Them Honda SS swingers seem to look good on any mid-sized bike Cool Not always a straight forward conversion tho Sad

Nige Kimber uses a RC30 swinger on his YPVS spesh, so the pic could compare the looks to the NC30 swinger.

Yeah dude, ive seen Nige's bike before, it looks the dogs nads huh ? - Anyone on here capable of doing this conversion ? and if so, what price/time frame are we looking at ? Whilst im on here and on the same subject, ive seen on another site that a Ducati 3 spoke or is it a triumph 955i rear wheel fits the nc30 SS Arm without too much bother - anyone know anymore on this subject !?!

Very Happy

Duke rear has been done by the 400greybike member Smev. Can't tell you what work went into it though;

If you're after a 3 spoke, have a look at the Bros, which needs a custom spacer and possibly a little machining to the hub;

Or Dymag do a straight fit 3 spoker;

The 5 spoke VFR750 wheel will fit, but requires a little modification;

Bros and vfr750 are 17", which helps tyre choice.
