I didn't mean Bitsa in that sense....I appreciate its a genuine bike.
How did you do the kickstart and brake pedal..?? Did you do the wheels...?? Those plastic tanks and the the rear shock came up well... Nuts and bolts look good...harness is exceptional.
What I'm getting at is it looks more like a 'Project Management' exercise. Somehow...I dont see you outside with a wire brush and a can of hammerite.
most restos are the same...very little of the work is done in house..all sent away to come back looking like new or replaced with a new part...
Nothing wrong with that ..Your bikes look great....I was just saying I thought it would be a refreshing change to see a box of absolute sh*te bought back to life...instead of Ebay wars and nargh nargh nuh nargh arguments about whos got the most green, and biggest stash of NOS bits.

Cheers, I did the wheels new bearings and all, kick start and brake pedal are new, and yes I do use a wire brush on a drill and do most of the work in the house or on the drive as I don't have a garage.

Crip, looking great, doing exactly the same with one of mine, which I have done most of the work on, bar sending of the crank and the paintwork, so can really appreciate the hard work, top job fella.
Understand where Z1100r's coming from but not every one can and does a resto by getting everything sent away, and not every one has the mechanical apptitude or ability.
Or has the spares, workshop, understanding wife and cash
Bit harsh Z
