you may not ned to take bike in ozzy..take plenty photo's of frame/engine numbers and of bike to show its a complete bike and the fresh mot and take all the bumpth and insurance to dvla office..
then wait ....your turn will come ....can be up to an hour wait...then show em the said papers and you should then be given an age related plate...and will be asked to tax it there and then regardless.
this will cost you about £40 for the reg and tax on top
got 2 to do mesen so il let ya know the outcome...
hope this helps...
oi scrap heap challenge fook me saw a near complete ar 80 on one of those programmes....its amazing what some peeps chuck out lol...

If your happy with an age related plate then throw your papers away and start again.
you need:

MOT
INSURANCE ON FRAME NUMBER
V55/5 FORM

Send your V55/5 with all your papers plus two forms of ID confirming your address ie utility bill and driving licence.

You will get an appiontment for them to view the bike and your done, oh yeh after you have parted with the first registration fee and tax disc.

Good luck
