needed to make sure, as ive ordered new dampers and the easyest way to rebuild is with a bolt on replacement.
Tried to get rivets today, told TZ fit but heads are bigger, can they be machined down to fit.
Only other option to put my basket back on is to have 4 made.
Any other options seb.

I know your French seb, but im afrade I dont know what you are talking about mate.
can you explain for my stupid brain, dont get the TIG point.
Do you mean thread the holes in the basket, and bolt it back on or some sort of welding.

Think he means hardened bolts and weld them - or maybe not. Regardless if you order the PGM kit it comes with the basket, rivets and dampers and the basket itself is the same 1A0 casting going back the the air cooled 250. In fact you can still get a valvie basket from Yamaha for not much more than the PGM kit and I cannot for the life of me tell it apart from the 4L0 one - I'm guessing its yet another case of the same part getting a new number for whatever reason. Bit like the 10W mirrors that or identical in every way to 4L0 ones. Only bad part of getting the OEM replacement is having to muck with the backlash - I got lucky though and found a matching crank gear.

Best check with another dealer - sound very high. My OEM in the bag 31K-16150-10-00 assembly was $110. The PGM kit I think runs around £45

If you look on the 4L0 fiche, it is item number 6. The basket with attached gear and I think it includes the o-ring. The preesure plate you don't need new, hub centre is not usually bad - although I replaced mine, got them cheap off ebay clearance as the seller didn't realize what they fit apart from the base number.
