Stupid as it may sound, but what gap should you expect between tank and seat? i have half inch gap. With my previous LC frame it was touching (nearly rubbed off paint work). I have seen a couple about with large gaps. Guess i may have to cut the bike in half and shorten it 1/2"
Damn it, no one told me the frame can expand and stretch when it gets powder coated Laughing

Your frame will not stretch during the coating. The oven to cure the coating is 180 degrees celcius. The frame will be in the oven in total for about 30 to 40 minutes depending on the thickness of the material. The core temperature of the frame needs to be 10 minutes at least at 180 degrees to cure the coating.

This 180 degrees temperature will not stretch the frame..... Don't blame the coater/coating.

Probably the gap was already this big before coating.

PicoBello, he is joking!! Hence the smiley face.. I also found that I had a large gap after recovering my seat, it was easily fixed by just pulling the vinyl a bit tighter at the front of the seat. It might work for you!! Otherwise sue the bl**dy powder coating company Smile
