come on lads seen many done but NEVER pics or tips etc on certain ways to do em right/wrong....followed rich's but thats it tbh...
i have an rg 250 had it since 1996 and done sweet fa bar the paint ....oh and missing parts...now time has allowed me to make her a yammagamma OR rg 250....(cough cough)...got 2 engines and loads looms i can make up and switches etc...gonna make an rg lc street fighter and loose the fairings and fit lc clocks....anyone done it???? i know the rg frame /ypvs is an awesom combo...any pitfalls i need to know asap ...btw mine is a mk1 rg...and know about the reverse gear lever and will drill a hole on the hanger to fit my gearlever...




anyone?????????????

You don't need to reverse the gear lever, you can use the gear lever pivot bolt off a YPVS (with a spacer) as one of the gamma footrest hanger bolts, and thus keep the normal gear change.

If you want you are welcome to come down and have a look at my Yammagamma, might help with your build?

Rich Here's my gearchange. I used an extended footrest hanger bolt (m8.) and spacer and a needle bearing to sleeve down the gearchange

nick got all of that on laminate and spot on i must admit...good process of how you did it.
gonna do sommat similar and start the project very soon

rich thats mk3 aint it?? but seen very similar on mk1/2.the one with the starwars back end...the best.

The std pegs are so nastily forward that when you put lower bars on they feel like a dreadful mishmash. Make some plates at a min to move pegs back.
