hello lads
recently bought my long awaited dream of owning an lc 350, admired my brothers when i was sixteen, (now forty) i was riding my chopper chicken at that time of which i also have one to this day,, my trouble is the previous owner has fitted twin calipers and said that the pads are fzr 400 rr the brakes work fine but when not braking the pads on both sides chatter like granmothers teeth, they are a simple affair which looks like the one pin holding them in place,
any comments most welcome
cheers

It sounds like they're missing the thin anti-chatter plates that sit behind the pads (they cock the pad slightly lessening chatter) or the thin spring plate that applies downward pressure on the pad edges ... if the cal's ever had them. I use disk caliper quieter (thick paste like) and Never Sieze (sparingly) at all metal to metal contact points.

If the pads are FZR400rr then I assume the calipers are the same which will probably mean they are 4 pot calipers.
If so I dont think they had anti rattle shims
