On a 31k or FII is the front brake light wires a separate part of the main loom
like an LC or integral part of the main loom.
If it’s a separate to the main loom anyone
got a part number and a pic of the connectors on either end.

Colin, they are all part of the main loom, just in slightly different places thats all, if I remember correctly the F2 has 2 small spade connectors that go up to the switch gear and connect into the main loom with the right hand switch gear connector, on the early 31K the LC2 there are 2 bullet connectors coming off the brake switch that connect into the loom lower down.
The F2 switch is 36Y-83980-00 but that connects into the RHS switch gear loom which in turn plugs into the main loom.
The early LC2 31K switch is 1A0-83980-30-00 and this is a switch assy with 2 flying leads that plug direclty into the loom I believe.

You also need to be aware that there are technically 2 types of '31K' switch. The LC2 has the round type, same as the LC. The F1, N1 etc have the same type as the F2 with 2 spade connectors.

Cheers chaps explains why I cannot find it on the fiche. I am trying to find a way of connecting
the brake light switch on a ZXR750 Nissan M\Cy into a standard LC loom.
I could just go and buy an LC one cut the switch off and put spade
connectors on but dont want to butcher a new part.
