hey are 1,mm wider but thats it the smalls are the same with the 350lc , the 250 smalls a little smaller same as the 125lc . But it is posable to use an lc rod on a ypvs you need to use a lc bigend and thicker washers at ether sode to take up the slack. But obviousley there is no point to this as the ypvs crank is better with its 1mm wider bigend.

It also has a little gap allowing better lubrication to the bearing. I believe this is mainly why its a bit wider...

Are you talking about slots on the sides or the milled out cuts in the middle? The lc rods have both but you might refer to some other gap?

Btw, can you run with ypvs rods (and bearings ufcourse) on a lc crank but take one of the aluminum thrust washers away? I know for a fact that many cranks don't have them at all. What are their purpose, other then just break and trash everything around? Question

Its a crack in the center of the big end, opposite the shaft! Cool

You can run a YPVS crank, if you mill out some more space in your crankcase, dont think the washer is thick enuff, and its there for a reason aswell...

Those thrust washers are steel ... probably a very hard spring steel.

Yep, to avoid the big end to rub and build up heat I suppose...
