Post subject: Ride Out From Preston To Lakes Camping Saturday 21/6

From the Easter meeting at Rivington we decided to have a ride up to the LC rally on the Staurday.
I have contacted everyone who was at Rivington by Text but for any others who fancy a day out details are as follows:
Meet under M55 Junction 1 roundabout at 8am, map here:

Plan to ride up the A6 and through the Trough of Bowland to Kirby Lonsdale (Bacon Butty stop for Chez) and then the campsite via Windermere. Should be there for 10.30-10.45 so we can do the ride out and have a chat back at the site later before heading home.
If anyone else wants to come please let us know? We potentially have Myself, Tout, Finbar, Shaun, Mark350LC, Chez, John and Russ so far.

Shit Happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Slight problem folks, I can no longer go as I have broken my foot last night (fracture at the base of my 5th metatarsal) No I wasn't playing footy and the doc says 6 weeks of plaster Arrghhhhhhhh 
Colin (Chez) is also maybe looking doubtful as he is going have his bollocks disconnected  on Thursday. Sorry Colin your secrets out! Anyway I keep telling him that the failure rate and swelling only affects 1 in 5 people 
Will also drop this on a text to all those who I've got mobile numbers.
Might have time to finish and start some of my other LC projects now though!

Dave, any truth in the rumour that you dropped your wallet on your foot ? 
Chez is still working on the 31k...front end back in now...slight mishap with the electrics mind  And I thought I was helping !
Gonads may well stop play though

No but I was working on an LC at the time of said incident 
New type of LC garage sport related injury has now been invented
If Colin's Gonads operation goes wrong we can keep each other company  I can give him some pain making him laugh
