Ive had a long think over the last few months and am going to build an LC with YPVS engine, so Im looking at selling the LC, as I now realise its way too good for what I use it for.
Its had a compleet rebuild over the last 22 months and has 11 months tax and mot.
Its had a total of just under £4800 Shocked spent including new Hagon shock and front springs (including stainless steel bottom pin), compleet engine rebuild in October (done 983mls since), all metal parts stripped and powdercoated, all new plastics and professonal spray job, compleet stainless steel fastners including norbos lovely engraved head bolts. Footrest and front forks pollished.
New ignition and seat locks, origonal petrol cap but all on one key.
It has Zeeltronic VCDI fitted at the moment, but can come with standard head and ignition, as no changes were made to the loom. Head was skimmed and reprofiled and combustion chambers taken out to match the rebore. Has drilled airbox lid, fiber reeds and jetted to match, but again I can put back to standard with undrilled cover and standard jetting, runs clean and smooth either way with no flatspots whatever. Very Happy
Gibson Allspeed pipes were new 18 months ago. Will be supplied with standard pipes that need restoring, the shed is the best place for standard pipes anyway. Laughing
New genuine Yamaha throttle and clutch cable.
Brakes rebuilt with new pistons and seals, plus new Goodridge plastic coated braided steel hoses and sintered pads just fitted.
Origonal seat with very good seat cover with no damage.
All chrome redone.
Had a new pair of BT45s last spring, and only done about 2000 careful miles on them. Very Happy
Has green indicator stems(new), twin horns, both wire guides on yokes, origonal mastercylinder, tooltray, owners manual, most of the tools but no wallet, both stands, very good unfaded clocks, compleet airbox, could go on and on and on.......and on!
I need to repaint the l/h engine cover as I left a hose off and turned the petrol tap on Embarassed but its only a light stain and will be fitting a new clutch basket and damper rubbers this week, as its a job I still havn't got round to doing yet.
2 new front indicators could be put on to match the 2 new rear ones too, allthough they are good.
Also been waiting for a new top clock cover to match the new bottom one fitted, but only wanted a new one without the Jap writing on and its been a long wait, unless you had £350. Rolling Eyes
All new rubber grommets throughout.
To look compleet it would need a rear mudguard and uncut numberplate holder, I do have an uncut numberplate holder I will put on, but wasnt what I wanted. Norbo dose mudguard for £60.
Will also come with every bag the new parts came in, all the origonal nuts and bolts in a box and a cd with all photos of the rebuild, b4 and efter shots of all parts refurbished, spread sheet with all purchased parts and hard to find wire routing, electronic parts list and the origonal ebay listing plus paper copy.
Only thing not done to this bike since I have owned it is the fork stanchons havn't been re hard chromed yet, everything else has been stripper and refurbished or replace if it was too bad to use.
Dyno print out at 42hp at Gibson dyno day, beat 3 YPVS engins too, Very Happy now has more hp as skimmed head, VCDI new top end and air box mod.
I only have the compleet history since I have owned the bike, and the tax disk and mot it had when I got it, and recept.

Forks are now pollished, and BT45 fitted.
http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k148/bryanbengal/DSCF1186.jpg
Now has black dome nuts.

Now as for the price, would like to get as much back as possible, however not wanting the earth for it. I would rather it whent to a new owner who loves it as much as I do.
Was like this when I got it.

I was a night club manager, step son is a DJ, they are the only free boxes that 12in records fit in perfectly.

if you check the post again, I have now amended it and put changes from the pics to how it is now. Should have took new pics, would have been quicker!

Belive me I dont want to sell it, I feel bad just putting this post up, how bad will it feel hearing the new owned ride off on it. Crying or Very sad
Had the same feeling about it a few months ago and it wore off a bit, but I have gone too far with what I have done on it, only wanted an LC to thrash about on.
Was going to spend money on the engine tunning it, but as its the origonal cases with matching numbers, I was going to tuck them up in the garage and stick the YPVS lump in it I brought.

trying to put a price on it without feeling like Im taking the piss is hard Confused
I feel It needs to be above £4000.
I think its worth more than that to me, I have spent countless hours on it, and I know ill never make a profit on it.
But I didnt do it to make money on anyway. It was an unloved bike sitting at the back of DK Motorcycles, look at it now, im well proud of it.
Got a tear in me eye now Crying or Very sad
