My Yamy dealer didn't know the part # for a 15T front sprocket, but I'll bet somebody here does. It's for a 1982RD350LC.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The number would be 1A1-17461-50-00 but it appears to no longer be a valid number and does not supersede to another number. Go aftermarket for a 1976 RD400C. I thought you were going back to stock gears?

Thanks for the replies guys, I did go back to stock gearing (16Tooth front 39 back sprocket) and the bike revvved better than the 17T-39T combination but I'm currious what would happen at 15T-39T. I know a lot of guys on this site are probably running that setup and can tell me what to expect. I assume an easier launch is in order.

you need to get your weight a bit further forward when giving it from the lights. Laughing

I suggest you keep the throttle wide open, especially on 1st gear. Don't fear going into the powerband, that makes you weak. Full throttle and no hesitation. Only then will you be powerful enough for an Rd 350. Laughing
