Yes i can't put it off any longer and have all the parts ready for the rebuild Shocked

So any tips/advice would be most helpful

Are there any tricky bits that the Haynes manual doesn't cover Confused

What's the best thing to clean engine parts ?

Use a proper clutch holding tool, no impact guns, clean all surfaces, use good gasket compound to join the two halves, replace all seals all around, insert the crank seals the right way in (castleated side facing bearing), deburr the clutchbasket if its worn, replace all o-rings and gaskets all over if possible. Check waterpump impeller and seals aswell.

Bleed oilpump properly, run on premix until the pump is pumping properly.. run it in and from then and on thrash the hell out of it whenever possible!

as jante post ^^^^^^^^^^ and give yourself plenty of TIME and dont rush or cut corners and use proper sealants gaskets and tools....
