HI ALL, ANY TIPS ON HOW TO REMOVE ALLEN BOLT FROM LOWER LEG, WHEN INTERNALS ROTATE? GS1000 FORKS.

either use an airline and hope it spins faster than the rod inside, alternatively borrow or make the tool to hold it inside

You might not believe this but I compress mine underneath a picnic table in the back yard while standing on top The bolt lines up with a crack in the table top and the damper rod usualy keeps still once the fork is compressed

Haha, i would also pay to see that trick!
Btw as Drew say, if the damper are compressed, it usually stays in place. Just put the spring/end cap back and it might come loose. Dunno how your forks looks like though, but this would work on telescope ones.
